The only reason to learn (X)HTML is because all the editors are really quite 
dire in one way or another. Which is quite sad really after 16 years of HTML!
NVU is nowhere near complete but it doesn't seem to have the attitude problems 
of some of the others and is fairly OS agnostic.
 I think FCKeditor is a much better HTML editor but I haven't found a Simple 
backend for it. Cuyahoga looks good for collaborative stuff but as I said I 
aint got it running yet.
I suppose I could look at modifying NVU to use FCKeditor one day......
