Hi I appear to have lost the ability to boot into my first partition. I get the message root (hd0,0) Filesystem is ext2fs, partition type 0x83 kernel /boot/vmlinux root=/dev/hda1 ro acpi=ht resume=/dev/hda5 splash=silent Error 24: Attempt to access block outside partition. I have tried various changes I found on the net, to no avail. I thought it may be a fault with the hard drive (I have two Mandrake was on the first, debian is still working on the second), but I think that can not be so as one boots from the first drive? (I think). I have not been worried up till now, but I want to install another distro which is Cannon ip 4200 friendly!
