Was trying to run Ubuntu on a old desktop but failed: the only error message I could see was "Kernel loaded" but the machine would stick on "Loading key drivers" Was planning to give the machine away as a safe machine so this is irritating Odd thing is that Knoppix runs just fine Any ideas about what I can try -- Henry Sun Oct 8 13:54:26 BST 2006
