[LUG] IP to Location software

Afternoon all. First post to the list and such, so hello :)

I'm after a method (Linux, of course) of finding an IP's parent nation 
(or something more specific if possible), ideally by the command line. I've tried 
taking 
the whois output from the IP and grepping for "country", but this isn't 
100% effective, even though it works most of the time.

Any suggestions?
