I have finally decided to go for it. Next Wednesday 24th is activation day. I am planning to set up a wireless router (using Mandriva2006). I will connect up normally with my computer upstairs (ie I will connect my Linux computer to the router using a cable). My wife's laptop (running Windows!!) is to be set up to use the wireless connection so that she can use it anywhere in the house. Are there any traps to look out for. Do I configure my computer as a lan connection? Any help gladly received.
