It was his "Atmospheric Railway" that (literally and metaphorically) - sucked.
Technically speaking,  dual gauge worked perfectly.

Actually the atmospheric railway would be completely wonderful nowadays; unfortunately it predated Goodyear (useful) rubber by about fifty years and rats kept chewing the leather.. If it were with silicone it'd be great at this point, silent trains. w00t.
