How do you know you're connected to your ISP?
Maybe your gateway IP address is not set on your workstation(s)? You'll
need to tell your workstation where to send data that you want to go out
onto the Internet.
Are your workstations using DHCP or Static IPs?
Former: Do you have the DHCP settings setup on the router to supply a
valid IP address and gateway address.
Later: Is the gateway address for your workstation configured alongside
your static IP?

Ok I can connect to the router and router is connected to isp but I can't
get on the net or check email etc. Any ideas what I need to do?
