I have my doubts about any guide that teaches specifics ie how to do xyz 
on this specific application in this specific environment. Guides that 
teach principals that are translatable to other flavours of an 
application and different operating platforms are much more useful. Of 
course these are much harder to write, which is why you don't see many 
of them about.
