What problem are you getting - signed emails should 'just work' in an up to date KMail whether or not you use a key yourself. Which distribution? What KMail version? KDE Version? e.g. mine is: KDE 3.3.2 KMail 1.7.2 (running inside Kontact) What do you have in the settings from: Configure KMail -> Security -> Crypto Backends. You shouldn't need to configure anything from the Configure button in that window, it should just be a case of checking or unchecking the boxes under Available Backends. If you have a key, start at Identities and Modify, click on Cryptography. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.data-freedom.org/ http://www.nosoftwarepatents.com/ http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
