Hi All,
Yesterday I ran Xandros Networks and updated my system with all the latest available patches etc.
Today X will not load - claims that two modules "speedo" and "keyboard" do not exist.
Presumably I can fix this from CLI (which I can get into).
Suggestions how to do that please :)
Kind regards,
Julian
Hi, it should simply be a matter of editing the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. My favourite text editor is joe, so i'll use that in this example.
As root, run 'joe /etc/X11/xorg.conf' Go down to where it says 'Section "Module"' and remove the lines trying to load the offending modules ('Load "speedo"' and 'Load "keyboard"') Save and exit (ctrl+k, s, enter, ctrl-k, q) Then try to start X again. --
