[LUG] kanotix 2005-02 and meeting
Hi
Just made 2 copies of kanotix, and will bring to the meeting on
thursday, so if anyone wants a copy feel free to pick one up, if you
have blank cd's I am willing to do a swap ( it helps cover costs of
cd's), which would help me, I am also bringing a stack of
openoffice.1.1.4 cd's along, This has linux, windows and source,
however this is NOT the patched version,
Again would be willing to swap for blank cd's. I simply want to get
shot of them, as this will help get oo.org to as many people as
possible, It looks like OO.o 2.0 proper is going to be later, even
though it should be out by september, I guess there are more problems
with the beta, that need ironing out first.
If I can I will also bring a copy of my cd I put to gether for lug
meetings, at present its got stuff like openoffice.org, mozilla, and
firefox for Linux, mac and windows. I know this is a GNU Linux user
group, however I have designed this so people having problems with
windows and who are also stuck with MSworks, or whatever can upgrade to
a decent web browser, mailclient and if they want a better office
package, useful if you can't afford MS office. It also works if you
want the latest browser of Linux, even though kanotix (debian) will deal
with this, unlike suse.
