As far as I'm aware it won't talk to modems at all, only more professional equipment.


But it might be possible to buy such equipment cheaply, I'm not sure...
I'm sure there is other software which will do the job though, but I don't know of any.


I did have a quick look at HylaFax's website earlier, looks like its easy to install the package at least on Debian, the fun bit is getting Debian on the machine.

I did try installing Debian from a mini-cd image with the idea of downloading the rest from the net. Only problem is... my network card isn't detected after a reboot!

I figured rather than mess around, I'll download the ISOs and install it from them and then do an update.
