There'll be plenty of those! Whenever you feel you can answer a query, just
chip in.

I haven't really joined a user group like this before so I have no idea
about the correct "etiquette" or whatever -so I guess I'll probably lurk
around for a bit and see how things are here?

No problem. That's a good way of getting along in any internet-based group.

It's fairly standard stuff, just remembering that what you post is
automatically archived on a public website.

I was pleased to find a Devon & Cornwall LUG as sometimes here in Devon you
feel like your the only one using this wonderful think called Linux and the
programs that go with it.

So, I'd just like to wish you all well and much happy hacking.

I have also filled in my profile for the enjoyment (or not) of the more
inquisitive amongst you.

I look forward to being able to sign your key (0xA09BDF66) at the next
meeting! There are at least two members in your immediate area and lots more
a little further around Exeter.

Feel free to sign emails to the list. It's a couple of settings in KMail and
all done. (I'm using KMail for my email.) KMail 1.7.1 - would that be
Mandrake 10?

(Surprising what you can find out by checking the headers and your profile in
the members area!!) Nice WordPress blog too! (Link is on the Members Pages):

I've never found time for a blog but I did like WordPress when I tried it. I
did consider it for the DCGLUG website but it was too much of a blog and not
enough of a content management system, so I stayed with the Wiki. Bizarre
logic, maybe, but it works.
