Either way 25kv will kill you pretty quick. Just becareful mind you anyone trying to steal this unit could be in for a shock (no pun intended) esp as the tube holds the current for quite a while, unless you drain to ground.

Take it from one who has been on the wrong end of a monitor EHT lead (used to repair slot and video machines for a living) that it is very high voltage, but very low current. It has a vicious bite (but I'm still here!). Put the cover back on.
