I've noticed that some replies have come thorough before the original
message, That makes three of us then. I thought I was alone as nobody else has mentioned it before. Three possibilities exist, to my mind: 1. Individual users with clocks out of whack on their machines. 2. Individual ISPs with timezones set wrong on their mail servers. 3. Mailing list out of whack. Of the above I think 3 is the least likely, because I think we'd see it a lot more frequently. 1 is next least likely, individual users (especially Linux savvy ones) being rather more careful than that. Number 2 IMHO is most likely, given that I've just resigned from one after 7 years I've seen all kinds of incompetence over that time. Or maybe my view of them is a tad jaundiced ;) Perhaps someone ought to check the headers of relevant messages in future to pinpoint where the time error occurs?
