Hi Guys Got the box and I'm ready to load up Debian. But it won't boot off the cd rom so I need a floppy disk boot disk. Unfortunately I only have a Mac! No floppy drive. Would somebody create me a boot disk and send it to me. I have the ISO and will burn this to cd rom. I presume that as I am booting of floppy I don't need this to be bootable just accessable? The other thing is, the computer doesn't have a network card. Does anybody have an old network card that I could have or buy? I'll cover postage and costs in both cases. Thanks Rich
It won't boot from the CD? Any reason? Non-supported drive (eg non-bootable scsi controller)? If you use SmartBootManager (sourceforge.net/projects/btmgr), then you will only need the CD drive to be accessible. If you plan to use the Debian boot floppies, then you will need 2 floppies - a boot and a root disk.
