Come to think of it,M$ is streets ahead in the open source game.I
mean, those polymorphic agobots are freely downloadable, and most
malicious software is compatible with all flavours of Windows.

Hi Sadie,

Technicallly that's not really MS, that's the technoweenies who know how to
exploit the continuing catalogue of glaring security holes in Windows.
Surely you're not suggesting that MS programmers are capable of efficient
enough programming to fit a worm into a tiny email attachment? Hell if MS
wrote Virii they'd come on a DVD with InstallShield Wizard and a request to
"Run this program please or it invallidates your EULA". Mind you they'd
still catch some idiots running it. Or were you thinking of MS Service
Packs? Equally capable of screwing up a perfectly working (well as far as
Windows ever is!) system.

BTW it's not *all* flavours of Windows in all cases, MSBlast for example
would only work on XP and 2K.. Windows 98 et al were unaffected.

Cheers,

Julian
