Found this in the hardware section of yast, and produced a hardware report, the /dev/sda looks interesting, whats the difference between sda and sda1?
About the same as Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Newcastle-under-Lyme. Close, but no banana.
Files: /dev/sda, Config Status: cfg=new, avail=no, need=no, active=unknown
Put this in /etc/fstab /dev/sda /media/camera vfat rw,noauto, user 0 0 Then mount the filesystem as a user - as and when needed. Your script only needs: mount /media/camera once it is defined in /etc/fstab in the above manner. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.codehelp.co.uk/ http://www.dclug.org.uk/ http://www.isbn.org.uk/ http://sourceforge.net/projects/isbnsearch/ http://www.biglumber.com/x/web?qs=0x8801094A28BCB3E3
