One of the servers I'm looking after is a big Dell PowerEdge box, which has an external Dell PowerVault disk array attached to it. The PowerVault box is showing an alert, and the screen on the front of the PowerEdge is saying DISK FAIL. Fairly conclusive, you might think... But, how in Linux do I find out which disk has failed? How can I find out how the array is configured? Etc. etc. Or shall I just reboot the BIOS and go into the RAID bios bit?
