I can see a lack of monitors/keyboards being a problem. Will there be enough keyboards/monitors/whatever to go round?
keyboards shouldn't be a problem and monitors can be avoided by using SSH in many cases. Mark - is there a chance of a few spare monitors being available, just to make less heavy stuff to cart around?
I take it someone's bringing a hub, if we need one?
I'm bringing a 4port 10baseT hub, an 8port 10baseT hub and a 4port 10/100 router. Should give 12 connections in total not including between each hub and the internet connection. The 8port hub belongs to DCLUG, the 4port might as well because I don't use it and ditto the router - it's ISDN so we'll just use the hub part.
- using linux, and Gentoo without an internet connection via sneakernet - 2.6.1 kernel - BSD - usermodeLinux (though I need help with networking myself) - bochs (seems to work for me but slow) - Termisoc - music / jackd - Gentoo - wine + Word,Excel,Dreamweaver,ie,Photoshop via Crossover, MedalOfHon via WineX
