Alex has come up with a new structure for the DCLUG archives between May 2001 and current month. Each month now has it's own archive, in a logical pattern: e.g. http://www.dclug.org.uk/archive/2004/01/threads.html is the current archive. 2003/07 for July 2003 etc., back to 2001/05 Each archive also clearly states the time period covered in the title of the index pages, which also include a simple way of navigating directly between adjacent archives. The two oldest archives have been retained in their original structure because of a lack of the original maildir folders. I've written new search script from scratch and the main index page has also moved: http://www.dclug.org.uk/ now points to index.php instead of index.html Whilst people are changing their bookmarks etc., the site will redirect visitors to the new locations. All internal links to the home page and archive search page have been updated. The Wiki has been updated to use the new structure and when other archive messages refer to the old archives, the site calculates the most likely matches and provides links.
