Re: [LUG] OT - dodgy spam

chris wrote:

I see to have received 2 emails encouraging me to update my bank details
using the links provided.

The links look dodgy and I am not a member of either bank. In short these
look like possible fraudulent emails, tho not amateurish.

Any suggestions as to a course of action, for instance anyone know of a
central online authority to report details to.

Cheers

Chris Edwards

You could report this email at www.spamcop.net....this would send a report to the originating ISP for them to take action. Also, the originator may be blacklisted stopping other people receiving the spam in futute..
