[LUG] ATYFB enabling

How do I enable ATYFB in Debian, I'm assuming I will have to rebuild the
kernel from source?

Or is there a package? There are lots of framebuffer related packages,
but I couldn't find any clear documentation that is Debian specific,
only the LDP stuff which refers to configuring your kernel.
