I've yet to see a boot floppy what would work with wireless cards if
that is the question.....

I'm sure it could be done, it may well have been done, and you may well
Google it up.

Most ack the wireless tools to configure it, however if you have a
compatible Linux distro somewhere I dare say you could copy the missing
bits on a floppy disk would work.

I'd suggest kick starting with a wired install. Then again a laptop
without a CD driver sounds either very small or very archaic....
