[LUG] Introducing...

Hello,

I've just joined the list (or lists) having previously been on the Nottingham 
list - I lived there up until a couple of years ago. I'm not a newbie or a 
code writing guru, just an end user who doesn't want to be tied to expensive 
operating systems and applications. (I do still use Win 98SE for things that 
don't run on Linux yet and the children's games.) I use Mandrake 9.0 with KDE 
desktop currently because I like it whilst realising that all distro's have 
their plus and minus points.

Looking back over the archives, there seemed to be at least one Penwithian. I 
live near Penzance and would be happy if they wanted to meet over a pint or a
