Already tried that :-P

I didn't have any success getting my network card recognised during the
install, despite managing to enable PCMCIA support (using CD1, not the
netinst image, which didn't give me that option and has an inferior
installer).

However, I've got a reasonably smoothly working system now, just from the
packages from CD1, so hopefully I can tinker about and get my NIC to work.

It spits out the manufacturer/card ID in hex in the system log, but it can't
tally this to an identifier or device driver as it is not in the card
database. However, I think the linux drivers actually came with the card
(wow!) so it should be a reasonably easy operation to configure it.

Famous last words... ;-)
