[LUG] Lindows / Linux similarities

Happy new year,

Evesham are selling Lindows pre-installed base units.   I appreciate there are 
some licensing issues with Lindows but is that basically a Linux box, i.e. to 
work with Lindows all the hardware must be Linux compatible and could be 
upgraded to a suitable Linux distro in due course?

Better still, has anyone over here started selling Linux pre-installed - I 
know WalMart are in the US but they don't seem to have reached ASDA yet.
