Re: [LUG] Re: Meeting 15-12-02

IRC is a good way of communicating genrally, whether there is much advantage over email is questionable. Its an option I think we looked at for the LUg in the past without much interest. Definetly nowhere near as productive as face to face chat over beer and sandwiches though

In fact, why don't we just set up a splinter meeting in Exeter and link
up via a live video link or something? 8-)

How about just doing as my W3C working groups do (most of the time)
and just meet up on IRC?

I'd be able to make that, which is less likely for StAustell or Exeter.

Heh, that's funny I was thinking of mentioning that when I wrote my email!

Not recommending it but pointing out that you have to be *seriously* geeky to consider that equivalent to a 'face-to-face' meeting! :-P
