[LUG] Another linmodem now working

Further to my success with scanmodem and the Advent SiS laptop modem, I'm now 
online for the first ever time with an internal PCI Dell Conexnant HCF 
(controllerless) modem using Linux. A simple RPM (carefully matched against 
the distro and kernel version) and KPPP worked first time.

ScanModem is available from http://www.linmodems.org and is getting better 
and better at finding previously unworkable winmodems like current PCI 
internal modems in laptops and desktops.

More power to the penguin!
