Sure, just find a nice Sun box, unplug the keyboard and shove a dumb terminal on serial port A :)


I have a maxtor box with no keyboard or graphics card, so I need a distro that will install over a serial port.

Oh, you mean on *intel* hardware...


I would imagine you can hack about with a distro to make the install kernel have support for a console on serial port. Not sure how that'd work with things like the virtual terminals that most install programs seem to set up for other info, shells, etc.
