Yes, I have read about problems in Java apps which were not calculating
financial figures right. Evidently you need special classes or
libraries to do the job correctly.

I assume sql-ledger does it properly, but surely any accountant worth
his salt can run a few tests himself? Coming up with a test suite data
set would be a nice little contribution one would think. ;)
