something that allows you to set the background to black, and the font to 
white would be nice (i can't spend all day looking at a white screen, i get 
headache after about 15 hours!) - kate doesn't seem to let you change the 
font color, one the background color, and black text on black background it, 
well, erm, interesting :p

at least i could write a sendmail.cf in it like that ;)

any sueggestions on an editor i could adopt as my new one would be good.  I'm 
trying to become more 'modern' and stop spening my entire life in consoles ;)
