Re: [LUG] Idle chatter Re: my spelling sucks like openssh 3.3p1 (Re: openssh 3.3p1 sucks badly Re: [LUG] OpenSSH Vunrability)

My favourite spelling geek observation was made after I broke
Windows networking by putting the "u" back into the "Network
Neighborhood" label

I prefer to replace that label with the name of the organisation, in the same
way that I replace "My COmputer" with the name of the computer.

It helps me remember where I am - particularly if I am reaching there using
VNC or a keyboard/mouse/monitor switch.

and

As MS protested the NSA releasing Security Enhanced Linux (Take
arms against the NSA - hmm Bill knows how to pick his enemies)
was actively promoting their competitors products.

I as actually very very supprised to see the NSA working on this, one of
the last people i would have thought - although i wonder if anyone has
*really* audited it yet.....
There was some interest in that on the UK-Crypto list, a whiel back, and I
think when it is available there will be several people auditing it.

NSA are not silly, they know what makes secure systems, and MS have irritated
a vry very wide variety of people.
