and since they deliver the interface to a terminal emulator it would be
possible to do that on Linux as well.

Anyone tried running SCO binaries on Linux? I think it is no
longer supported but there was a SCO executable format for a
while.

Might be less modifications than you'd first guess ;)

Besides even the new owners (Caldera) don't see a future for
SCO.
