Re: [LUG] perl book needs a home

Manning has sent D&C perl mongers an extra copy of Perl Graphics
Programming by mistake. They don't want it back but want me to give to

I thought I'd give DCLUG first shout. Do we have a library?

Not yet - but then we haven't been given any books except the
O'Reilly ones we were asked to auction off for charity.

If you want it, I'll have to give the reviewers name to Manning and
then you've got 60 days to review it.

I'm loathed to pay for posting, so I'll hand it over when I see people.

Well I've copied Dr Allan, who might be interested in reviewing
a book on PERL graphics.

Perhaps we could persuade those nice people at Exeter University
Physics department to find space for a special LUG(S!) library
shelf. Otherwise I can arrange to hold books for the D&C LUG.

PS: I wonder if they still have the OLD(!) PRIME manuals in the
library on the top floor of the physics building, even when we
used PRIMEs at Exeter Uni these manuals were starting to gain
historical significance.
