   I am using kmail under suse 8 and when I try and recieve mail I get this

   Login via SASL (PLAIN) failed. The server may not support PLAIN, or the

   The server said: "Invalid command, try one of: USER name, PASS string, APOP
   name digest, QUIT"

APO = Authenticated POP3 ?
SASL = some kind of SSL ? can you tell kmail not to use ssl over pop3 ??
