[LUG] Syslog generator

Hello,

An end of day problem...:-) Has anyone used a syslog generator with linux? I
got one which runs under windows ('kiwi syslog generator'), and it works
fine sending syslog messages to a Sun box, but I can't get anything on the
linux box. I get no messages, in any logs, at all. Anyone any ideas as to
what may be happening (blocking them)? I'll have a think about it tonight,
but must admit I'm a bit stumped.
