I think you'll need something like this (based on stock main.cf)

myhostname, mydomain: commented out
myorigin: I set it to $mydomain, but you might want to set it to
$myhostname

mydestination: $myhostname

You may want to set the mynetworks parameter too and the relay_domains
param if you want to forward mail to non-local destinations.

I think that should do the trick.  This is all based on my currently
working config on a co-lo box - works just fine, although it took me about
a day of playing with it on a local box and learning as I went :)
