[LUG] FW: Lonix - London Linux User Group (February 2000 Meeting) (fwd)

This month is the first of a set of meeting where we'll have guest
speakers talking about their field of Linux related work. Neill
Newman currently researching Linux Wearables in Essex University
will be talking to us about this new technology and how he used
Linux to build these devices. He'll be bringing down some examples
of his work. I'm sure he won't mind if some of us try to reverse
engineer and dismantle it, so bring your screwdrivers along ;)

Date: February 9th 
Time: 6.30pm
Place: City University. Nearest tube stations are Angel,
       Farringdon and Barbican
Room: A255b

If you are bringing someone along who isn't on the mailling list you
need to register them on the Lonix site do that security have a list
of names.

The room is sponsored by the City University Computing Department.

After the talk we'll be going to either a pub nearby or the
University Union and then on
 for some food around Angel.

Description of directions from Angel Tube station:

1) Out of the tube station take a left and walk down the road.
2) You should get to a cross roads with traffic lights where you
   go straight.
3) Keep walking till you get to Spencer street on your left.
4) Don't go down Spencer street but cross the road and you will
   see City University on your left.
5) As you walk down with City University on your left you should
   see an Entrance on your left
6) Go in this entrance and speak to Security who should be able to
   point you to the room.
The road the entrance is on is St. Johns Street.
