RE: [LUG] PPP link prob



Try setting up PAP or CHAP.  Not all dialup servers use standard console-style
authentication.  You'll need to put stuff in /etc/ppp/pap-secrets or
/etc/ppp/chap-secrets - see appropriate man files or man pppd.
