Hi All
It seems to take a long time from sending an e-mail to the list or
replying to the list and that message getting back to me.
Are others experiencing issues ? How long should it take?
Paul
Hi Paul,
That will vary for everyone, even users of the same ISP. When I was in
ISP Tech Support for customers I likened the Internet to a road network.
A person uses different roads to travel from Plymouth to Exeter than
Plymouth to say Exmouth, but it's the same network. One of the roads to
Exmouth may have roadworks so although it's closer the journey takes
longer. Taking that back to the Internet each 'junction' is a router.
Every email has two 'journeys': from the users to the mail server and
from it to everyone on the list.
So in a nutshell 'it depends'. Not a satisfactory answer but true.
Kind regards,
Julian--
