I am on mail list, I'm not sure where to start this conversation. I have tried without success to start with Mastodon etc. I use multiple GNU Linux distros across various devices, and only use Sailfish phones.Of late I have been setting up using LoRa for messaging, first with Meshtastic and now Meshcore.
The implimintation has been straightforward until now using the appropriate mainline apps, a phone and companion radio. The latest Lilygo T-Decks all in one devices are not expensive and far more practical, but more difficult to set up. Much of the available firmware is development status with downloads on Github.
I write to see if there might any interest in this now fast expanding use of LoRa and the coding challenges.
Kind regards
Duncan Baker
