I use Mythic Beasts for my own domains. I started using them this year, 
having previously been ripped off by iwantmyname.com which was bought 
out by another company and subsequently raised their prices fourfold.

Mythic Beasts is a little pricier than Cloudflare, with a flat cost for 
renewals at £6 per annum or £51 for five years in advance. I'm not the 
one paying the bill for DCGLUG of course, but I think I'd consider that 
a good deal for the better customer service and the lower reliance on 
companies in the USA (Mythic Beasts provide domain names through a 
Canadian company). What's more is that they sponsor the Open Rights 
Group, which I expect is quite positively viewed by members of DCGLUG.
