[LUG]Helping future software maintainers

Just starting a new topic here and I think it does sort of link in with 
the MissionLibre and similar project(s).

So one of the things I said in the missionlibre topic was that young 
people don't need another group teaching them,  I think the example in 
this article adds some evidence, as the young person they spoke to is 
self taught from, it seems watching youtube videos.  They also want to 
contribute just need help getting started and onboarded.

Just thought I would share as it is related, but it also opens up that 
question of how are we going to ensure projects are maintained in to the 
future.
