Hi AllAs things have gone quiet down here in Torbay, just wondered if anyone would be up for perhaps helping to kick start things here in Torbay.
There is a Tinkerers group ( http://www.tinkerers.uk/ ),we meet on the 4th Saturday, 11 am to 13:00 at Paignton Library, two members of that are looking to enter the UK Mars contest in https://ukmars.org/, so quite a lot of discussion is around the design and making an entry for that, The group is 18+.
The STEM group is no longer running, the library want to restart this but have it more structured, so we could experiment with Pi's, Micro:bits it would be good to spend time with people and actually discuss / learn something specific. Having a specific session focus means more of a hook to get people in.
I think this could complement the Tinkerers group too.If anyone is interested, you are welcome at Tinkerers, as for the STEM thing, if we can come up with some ideas so we come in, with a clear plan in mind, that would be good.
