Hi all
I'm looking to migrate away from Fasthosts as my Domain Name registrar.
Any suggestions for alternatives?
I need good up time and full edit access to all the DNS sections (A,
TXT etc). Cost is a factor but not essential - I'll be passing all
costs to website customers
TIA
Any reasons why?

Fasthosts recently put their prices up - massively.
I used to do all my hosting needs through them but I became increasingly
dissatisfied with their performance. It came to a head when I started
coding to PHP7 standards and their hosting couldn't cope. I was pissed
off with their attitude to SSL Certs and Let's Encrypt - basically they
want you to pay through the nose for certs. Same for mailboxes bigger
than 100Mb (fine for POP but most people use IMAP these days) - expensive.
I'm in the process of moving my websites to Cloudways (who I'm very
impressed with) and email to Zoho, Migadu and Mailjet. Just need to find
a home for my domains now...
