Yes, I know that many phones have this facility. It seems that my particular model does not include it. I can find no way to transfer photos from the phone storage to the SD card. All I can do is choose where to store any future photos.

There may be a "move" option when you open a photo on the phone, in which case you'd be in a position of having to open each file in turn to move it.
