Yeah, sorry about the long screed, it was bit difficult to keep the
detailed instructions short... I presumed that anybody who wasn't
interested would skip it as a matter of course.
Nice find, I've not actually come across this particular trick before
actually. Sadly, it definitely won't work in Neil's case as it depends
on the system being in EFI mode already complete with grub-efi, all the
EFIVARs set and the correct bits and blobs in the linux system paths.
And also a GPT formatted disk - absolutely none of which Neil has.
So he's going to be either doing this the long and hard way around, or
not at all :|
