Dear All,

All this talk of Open Source and Openstreet map, I thought I'd say you can help 
openstreet map by becoming a member and then updating the maps. Lots of new bits are 
still missing round Devon

You log in via the browser and you can add buildings by tracing the aerial photos 
and add names and encode what buildings are.

Up at the uni they sometimes run Missing Maps events where you can help encode parts 
of the world that are missing. Especially in developing nations where an accurate 
map may never have been created.
