19 days after the ADSL dropped and three visits of OpenReach engineers
(two on behalf of BT, one on behalf of the broadband provider) later,
the ADSL is fixed again.

Hurray.

(I try to respond to me own questions once they have been solved, as it
might be useful for others - if only people reading this in the
archives. But I find it hard to turn this into useful advice.)
